It’s the most wonderful time of the year. In Korea, Christmas is a day for friends and family as well as a time for consuming entertainment be it Television or music.

Here, we have chosen our favourite 25 songs released from the world of K-pop ranging from first generation bands to songs released as recently as 2024.

Snow Kiss – Teen Top

After back-to-back 2024 Christmas songs, today we bring you back to the incredible year of 2014 as we reflect on the 10-year anniversary of K-pop group Teen Top and their three-track single ‘Snow Kiss‘.

A song for every Christmas occasion, we start the single with the title song, “Snow Kiss“, an upbeat song dominated by a strong trumpet instrumental. The song has a great retro vibe and, much like many Christmas songs, features lyrics about spending Christmas looking for love and the joy of finding the one.

Next, the boys, much like many K-pop acts we have covered, dive into a sweet winter ballad with “Merry Christmas“. While not in the traditional style of Teen Top, the song is a valiant attempt by the boys to match the Christmas trend. It is hard to say that the song compares to previous ballads mentioned and yyet-to-be-announcedballads in this advent calendar. The song really is just there, but it is still a welcome addition to this album.

Depending on your preference for Christmas music, you might be glad to hear that Teen Top switched it up with “Winter song“, a song perfect for all those K-pop fans looking for a break from the traditional Christmas cheer and looking for a more K-pop-infused song and similar to the conventional K-pop music we are treated to all year round.
