It’s the most wonderful time of the year. In Korea, Christmas is a day for friends and family as well as a time for consuming entertainment be it Television or music.

Here, we have chosen our favourite 25 songs released from the world of K-pop ranging from first generation bands to songs released as recently as 2024.

BTOB – The Winter’s Tale

By preparing for this advent calendar, it was amazing to see how many great Christmas songs were released in 2014. With multiple entries already on this list, today, we bring you another song from 10 years ago, a K-pop classic, and one of the best Christmas songs of the year, The Winter’s Tale, by BTOB.

With an iconic spoken intro and animal onesies, the music video to this song is one of the very few to be on IMDB and absolutely needs to be watched as opposed to just listened to.

A group known for their incredible vocals, the song does a great job of highlighting the member’s talents with pitch-perfect notes. BTOB captures the essence of Christmas with its signature ballad style and infusion of rap.

The song is one of the greatest examples of BTOB portraying the pure K-pop style and breaking the mould of their traditional ballad-focused style.
