It’s the most wonderful time of the year. In Korea, Christmas is a day for friends and family as well as a time for consuming entertainment be it Television or music.

Here, we have chosen our favourite 25 songs released from the world of K-pop ranging from first generation bands to songs released as recently as 2024.

Monsta X – Lonely Christmas

For many, Christmas is a happy time of year full of happy moments and time spent with loved ones. However, for some, Christmas comes as a lonely time for those with no one to spend the holidays with. Released in 2017, Monsta X would release a song to provide a bit of light relief for those with no one to spend the holidays with.

However, while the song has a sad title, it is an upbeat instrumental featuring signature Monsta X vocals and rapping in the traditional Monsta X style. The song does an incredible way of keeping Monsta X’s classic musical style while adding just enough festive hints in an unmissable Christmas song.
