2023 saw some incredible acts and exhibits come to the UK, whether it was K-pop giants ATEEZ and KARD, the uniting of Korean music through Korea on stage or the continued rise of small K-pop events through the likes of HMV Vault in Birmingham. The year saw success in promoting Korean culture, and the 140 relationships between the UK and Korea were celebrated throughout the year. 2024 looks to recreate this success in January, sure to set the standards for the coming months.

Delight: Media Art Exhibition 

Initially starting in October, January marks the last month you can catch the Delight Media Art Exhibition at Borough Yards.

Open 7 days a week, the exhibition displays the Korean history of the Joseon dynasty with modern technology running through the years and capturing modern Seoul. The exhibit is perfect for providing a colour picture of Seoul.

Kim’s convenience theatre show

One of Netflix’s most beloved original comedies, running for over 5 seasons. Mr Kim’s Convenience will be live in the UK in theatre form. Led by the show’s original producer and writer, Ins Choi, who will play the role of Mr Kim, looks to tell his own story of triumph in a feel-good comedy that will enact all emotions.

Xikers Tricky House First Encounter tour

After an incredible rookie year topped by a sensational set at Korea On Stage in November at the OVO Arena Wembley, Xikers look once again to return to London as part of their first European tour.

In a month full of incredible K-pop talent, this group are probably the most talented, and with a significant future ahead of them, don’t miss the chance to see this group at the start of their career.
